I remember when originally watching the first few episodes, I wondered if they were inverting the standard Isekai trope such that the reason why Anis didn't have magic was because of her reincarnation. I.E. Anis was "not special" because of her past life. It was quite neat to see that they turned it into an interesting running plot point where Anis believes she's a fake because of her reincarnation, especially since there are several points in the show where she is "reminded" of her fake-ness. First was obviously her lack of magic, which we learn in the last episode may have also shamed the queen, which Anis felt guilty about. Then after she nearly gets Albert killed as a child, she officially steps down, and although they give the reason that she didn't want people to think it was intentional, but it also seems reasonable that her guilt over being fake made her choose to explicity give up any claim when given the chance. When she fought the dragon, it explicitly calls out her reincarnation, which is basically the first proof from an external source that she's "fake", as up to that point her memories could have been a delusion. After the duel, when she tells her secret to Euphie, it was neat to look back at how much of the story was almost a direct result of Anis behaviour due to her reincarnation, especially since she was trying to not "rock the boat". Sure she went off and invented a magic system that was causing political strife, but she was definitely trying to stay out of royal affairs because she "didn't belong there".

Just a supplementary information since you brought up the lack of magic in connection to Anis reincarnation, the anime never really goes into it but you basically need 2 steps for magic, 1# mana 2# affinity for spirits. Anis does have mana, that's how she uses her mana blade and stuff like that but she is completely lacking in the affinity for spirits. The affinity for spirits is basically whether or not spirits like your mana or not, if they like it and you try to cast a spell the spirits consume your mana and through that manifest what is called magic. There are no spirits that would consume Anis mana so she can't use magic. A reasonable assumption is that there are no spirits that like to consume Anis mana is because she is reincarnated, because her mana is "otherworldly", unknown to any spirit in the world, so they wont consume it. (the last part is really just an assumption, it's been a while since I read it so I am not sure if this is ever directly stated like this or if it's just an Idea I came up with when reading it)
