Regarding the forest moving. Cornelia mentions it very briefly so it’s easy to miss, but basically the Japan Liberation Front turned the mountain they were hiding in into a fortress, and its partially mechanized so that they can use the terrain to their advantage. I imagine this is similar to how Mount Fuji in episode 12 seems to have an elevator that can be used for a car and the images we are shown of Mount Fuji have industrial looking parts attached to it. Also, it’s been soo long since I had seen the Coalgirls release for Code Geass that I had forgotten just how much extra info they put on the screen, like explaining what the characters are referring to or what some of the acronyms mean, it feels like old school fan translations ( which I guess this technically is). Personally I don't mind them, but it does feel a little weird as its rare to see that in modern fan subs, they also get a chuckle out of me every time xD EDIT – I forgot to mention the snow thing lol I'm sure the snow thing can be interpreted in a lot of different ways, but this is how I interpreted it - Lelouch tells C.C that her name is not human, and she replies with "The snow is white because it forgot what color it is" which is a reference to herself. She (the snow) has forgotten what she is supposed to be (has forgotten what color it is) and this is why she goes by C.C, a not human name. In the next episode, during the cave scene, C.C seems distraught while she says that "she has forgotten everything" and we find out that C.C appears to have been alive for a very long time, and that this long existence of hers, her immortality, powers, etc... have made her "not human" and implies that because of these things her real name doesn't matter/doesn't have any value and that that is why she uses C.C instead. These experiences have given her an identity crisis where she doesn't know who she really is anymore and considers herself not really human. Or in her words - the snow forgot what color it is. I also want to add that Lelouch thanking C.C made her really happy, and she asks him to say her original name again with care and affection; despite everything she has said about not being human, and despite her usual demeanor up until that point, she does seem to have some of that “forgotten” humanity still in her, and she seems to want more of it to a degree. At the end of the episode Lelouch replies to her snow question and says "I don't know why the snow is white. However, I think that the white snow is pretty. I don't hate it" (I don't know what has happened to you/why you consider yourself not human/what you have forgotten, but I think you're pretty and I don't hate you). I honestly really like that reply, and I really like how they did all this character development for C.C, it reminds me a little bit of monogatari.
