I thought this was okay, I agree maybe too in your face of "No one can beat me" sort of thing unless they find some weakness to him but I don't know if this an actual OP Iseki series or say an awkward comedy morale of the story situation. I only say that because 2 times inone episode he tries the jokes that no one gets except us of course and he was pushing teaching the brothers a lesson as opposed to just scaring fear into people, plus why would he as full grown still entertain his parents goofiness, also the tags on this are "Fantasy, Magic, School so pretty tame tags if labeled correct.

It is fun seeing the Demon King with a perfect family, a best girl, and in full control of his power a month into his resurrection. I agree that I'm struggling to see where this is going but I there is a lot to like here. We have seen a whole shonen action arc in the first episode so hopefully the series is about him trying to be nice guy when the world doesn't want that from him. Can he relate to this world? It is odd that we have met so many kind people when society wants a Demon King to rule them with an iron fist.

I think the story is going to be more about the mc correcting the other demons views. Yes you kill your enemies ruthlessly but you value your “family”. I believe that is the way he was before but after 2000 years people have forgotten he treated his “family” well. Also he is going to take time to train those around him to be strong so they can serve him. This is all a guess and I don’t know if it is over all going to be good but we will see.
