Typhi

This was so good! I’m kind of shocked by how they managed to make both halves of the episode feel so jam packed. The Harvest Festival afterparty was a great time with the Misfits reuniting, but it didn’t really give Iruma and Lead a chance to celebrate their victory together and I’m happy we get to do that here. This is also where we see why Lead getting such a big promotion to one of Iruma’s best friends is such a big brained play by the author – Sullivan is rich, Azz is an aristocrat too, and Clara is a chaos gremlin. But Lead’s just a normal teenage boy that likes girls and video games and lives in a normal ass apartment. Iruma really needs some of that in his life. And of course, it’s also sweet to hear Shakky talk about how Lead himself has also changed. She’s right, too. I think the only person who climbs onto/hugs people more than Lead is Clara! Great easter egg having a huge poster of Keroli in his room. If only he knew. And hell yeah, more Iruma and Ameri goodness. It is like manna from the heavens. These two are just always a treat and I love them. It’s kind of a cute detail that Ameri’s reference for sugar in sweets is probably because Elizabetta was just complaining about it in a ‘girl talk’ sort of way. Also I love the way your fear really kicked up a few levels once they started thinking about putting the spatula into the batter. It really drives home their incompetence. It’s so funny to see Opera so expressive and exasperated for a change of pace. We’re used to them being near flawless and handling everything without breaking a sweat...or bullying Kalego... But here they’re just utterly defeated. The bodyguard of one of the Three Greats, and very likely a rank 9 demon themselves, just absolutely CRUSHED by two high school kids and their cookies.
