This is both the most sad and one of the best anime episodes I have seen in my life. Yuus reaction when the doctors tell him is probably the same as most people when they saw this for the first time. What I like about this episode is how it deals with grief and sorrow in a realistic way, It is a very hard episode to watch but I think we are supposed to understand how it feels for Yuu. Keep in mind that he was abusing his powers and was very selfish already in the first episode and that was still when he had Ayumi. So losing the only person he really cares for could easily make him go down a really dark path. Thankfully Tomori steps in and stop him before he goes to far and yes I think you are right that the reason why she did not do it earlier was because he needed time to grieve and saying anything at that stage would have had no effect. What made me tear up most during this episode is the ending when Tomori makes the same food as Ayumi and the reason she alwasy made that food for him. Also you should not worry about not talking so much on this episode, most reactors are silent for the most part during this episode and I really enjoyed your reaction to this very emotional episode. :)

This is personally one of my favorite episodes of anime ever. I don't rank Charlotte as one of the best ever? But this single episode of trauma is one of the best best best episodes ever. And I'll never stop appreciating it. Thank you for making this possible William and for watching Ryu Ryu.
