So we have the official founding of "Rentaro's Family." Just like the girls said, it's pretty much the perfect description. I think parts of this episode felt chaotic in kind of a messy way but I think that's just the nature of the whole bouquet toss event, since it was only one chapter in the manga too. Flower Fairy Shizuka flying through the air more than made up for it. Seeing the Gorilla Alliance girls animated is...bizarre. But hey, I hope she and her lil boyfriend are happy together too. And it's nice Karane made a friend. Also wow, Hakari's mom sounds even scarier than I imagined. Something that surprisingly didn't make it into the episode but I think is worth noting b/c it's mad cute is that it's implied that Nano is the one who made Shizuka's little flower crown at the beginning AND there are a couple panels that show her giving Shizuka headpats. If you go back to the pool episode, you can spot her observing Rentaro giving headpats to Shizuka and seeming veeeeery interested and this was sort of the expansion to that. Not a massive deal at all that it didn't make the cut but I figured it was a fun detail to share!
