“There’s got to be a limit, right?” You know, you’d think so. But those are famous last words when it comes to 100 Girlfriends. So...uh, yeah, that’s Hahari! She’s got herself a pretty insane backstory, but now we can see her looks aren’t the only thing Hakari inherited. In fact, if you go back to the first episode just after Rentarou ran into the girls, he starts crying (just like he was here) because he thinks he hurt her and she has a near identical moment of fawning over him with heart eyes and a pink background. It even says “love is blind” on the screen, just as it says here that Hahari “went blind again.” Pretty fucking fantastic stuff, but I’ll hold off on any more Hahari comments until this little arc is wrapped up. The break-in segment was amazing. To me that’s always sorta been the beginning of the rest of 100 Girlfriends, as it fully showcases the newly established Rentaro’s Family dynamic. Nano admits she genuinely cares for the girls, Kusuri makes a huge sacrifice by giving up the eyedrops, Shizuka makes a huge sacrifice by giving up...herself. I mean, even the way Karane is panicking because of Nano’s broken nail is precious. Also Karane’s whole “a rich person’s X” gag is so funny to me lol.
