The only Maomao face that beats her disgusted one, is her angry one. For very different reasons.

The episodes are certainly an emotional roller coaster. In one episode we had so much sadness with the flashbacks to the death of the baby, we had Maomao's rage, and we had silly comedy (Maomao and her secret techniques I think will become very powerful amongst the concubines!) - yet it never felt like an out of place transition between humour and genuine emotion.

Maomao's knowledge from her "big sisters" at the brothel being passed on to the concubines should put a smile on the Emperor for some time. Aphrodisiacs and now "assets" play, what treasures shall be revealed in the future.
