With the light almost out, I upped the ISO and got this one last shot, then she went to put on a pair of jeans while I began stamping the fire out into coals and ash. She and I stood around the fire for another twenty minutes watching it die, staring up at the stars and talking about life, history, and the primal nature of fire.
