Hello there!

For this week's bonus video, we're taking a look at how the Disney corporation went from being surprisingly debauched in the 1920s ... to pretty intolerant of gays ... to a place that (compared to other companies) was relatively welcoming by the 1990s. So, why did Disney executives start welcoming queer employees -- was it out of sheer human decency? Hahaha, no, it was money all along.

Come join me on Twitch for a stream today at noon pacific/3pm eastern -- we'll be watching & discussing a documentary about the making of Beauty and the Beast: twitch.tv/mattbaume

For more reading on all these topics, I highly recommend these great books:

Who's been messing up everything? It's been Capitalism all along Who's been pulling every evil string? It's been Capitalism all along It's insidious (ha-ha!) So perfidious That you haven't even noticed And the pity is (the pity is) Pity, pity, pity, pity It's too late to fix anything Now that everything has gone wrong Thanks to Capitalism (ha!) Naughty Capitalism It's been Capitalism all along! And it killed Sparky too...
