Announcement for Customs (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

I just want to make sure that I'm clear about when I'll be stopping customs.

Tiers

I will continue posting tier videos and shop videos every weekend and I thank you for your continued support while I develop.

Custom Videos

So today is the Feb 5, 9pm where I am. I will be closing down the custom forms at 11:59PM on the 7th. That gives you roughly 50 hours to submit your custom video forms. There has been a massive number of orders (to be expected) since I announced the ending of custom videos, so it'll take a while for me to get through everyone so I thank you for your patience.Video form here:https://forms.gle/5fz8Emp1xZVM9hxa6

Custom CharactersIt seems like custom character requests have come to a stop since a couple days ago, so I'm going to close that for now so I can focus sole on the videos. But I will be back to making custom characters again once the game is out for a while until I move on to something else. Starting now, you can still submit characters but I won't be working on them until after I finish my game. I will go in order so if you already know you want a character, feel free to submit.

Game stuff

I realized that on steam, you can have different branches of a game, so on an alternate version of the main game, I will develop a feature where you type in a code and you can play as your character. You can access alternate versions of a game through the game's properties:

The alternate branch will be the exact same as the main game, except it'll have this added feature. It won't be part of the main branch as I don't want to update the main game with only new custom characters and make players outside of Patreon update their game for no reason.The code will be unique and I will personally send that out to the owners and they can share their code with their friends or anyone they'll allow to use their OCs. So don't share the code with anyone you don't trust.There will be a one time fee for putting each character into the game, even if I've already made your character, as it will take a while to transfer all the properties of the models to be compatible with the game.

This is still all theoretical but from my understanding, this is likely the most reasonable way to handle custom characters for the upcoming game.

After the game is out, I will be closing down tiers on this Patreon as you will no longer need to pay to watch fights; just buy the game. This Patreon page will just be posts with information about adding custom characters and custom-related stuffies.

Like I mentioned before, I will be making some updates here for early alpha testing at some point, so keep your eyes peeled.

It's been a pleasure building a nice little community here with you all. You've all been kind, supportive, and passionate. Most importantly, you've given me the opportunity to try things that I never would have and I am very grateful for that. Thank you and I'll see you all again when I have something big to announce.-ABL
