The book "The Fall of Carthage" says that Troile putted a statue of his lover and co-ruler Tanit in the center of the city. Then, after their quarrel, Troile placed Tanit's impaled body inside the statue, and Tanit stayed there until she was rescued by her sir Moloch. The sculpture in the picture is not very stylistically authentic, but we have a fountain in our city called The Birth of Venus, and every time I see it, I think that Carthage could have had such a fountain with a statue of Tanit and blood jets.

Beautiful and an interesting type of statue for vampires, cool idea too. The Blood Countess from Diablo approves!
