Saw the game VR for the first time today. Its really hard to appreciate the scale of these beefy bois until you see them in VR.

will this game work on the steam deck? anyone tried?

Hogswild Prasetto
>>101580321

The game has only less than a handful of Linux users, granted, one of them did test it on the Deck. Only a couple issues with the UI are present, but the rest appears to work fine.

Anonymous
>>101580321

That would be me. Can confirm it works just fine, haven't encountered issues outside the UI one but they are very minimal imo. I also haven't tried mapping the deck controls so idk how that goes.

>>101580321

Since Steam OS is Arch-Linux-based, it could work probably (I'm using Manjaro - which is also Arch-Linux-based - and get the known Linux-bugs with the UI there, but otherwise could play the Game as good as my old Hardware allows). Yeah, remapping controls (is that possible in game - if so, never used it) would be interesting though - but since you can connect the Steam-Deck to an external monitor or connect a mouse to it, too, you could try to use it as a portable Desktop somewhere and see if you can remap it somehow with the help of standard PC-periphery (keyboard/mouse).

Really excited to try out some of the new conditionals. Curious to know if it is possible to add the existing "simultaneous orgasm" condition to our babs. Hasn't seemed possible so far.

Wolfie Randolf

Seems this update isn't posting to the main Patreon feed or page. still says 21.1

Denis Vargas

I keep having a problem with the camera panning down and going around my character when I shift the camera.

Wolfie Randolf

Not that I have a mac, but same here. Probably doesn't have the osx version for this one ready?

Denis Vargas

I keep having a problem with the camera panning down when I click.

Robby

Thank you! I love your work! :)

Seriously , any chance you might host the files on some other site than Mediafire? I get consistently <100kb/s download speed on my 35Mbit line :(

Bearmanoo

Thanks for the effort involved in bringing this project forward. How lucky I have in meeting them! Regards!

Has the discord channel disappeared?

Black screen on MacOS Sierra after intro text ((( I try to run 0.2.0 because it worked on El Capitan, but.... it doesn't work on Sierra too (((

Make sure the app is inside the Mac's applications folder, it seems to not work otherwise (as reported by other users)

I have a problem to play on my Ryzen, Anyone here would be able to tell me if there is any incompatibility, or even if anyone else had this issue, the game only loads up to the Patreon screen

Anonymous

looks there is no way to get it running on macOS? I was told it cannot be opened without detailed information.

Anonymous

hello，Can you trouble tell me， Can the font of this game be modified? It can help me read the plot better，thanks

So whenever I download a new update, all my progress in the story line reverts back to the start (i still keep changes to my character and items). Is this supposed to happen? Whenever i update, i replace all the files it wants to replace, if that has anything to do with it.

Awesomesauce
>>35478776

Yes. It's meant to do that because we are still helping to beta test the game.

Dave

I've gotten it to run on MacOS Catalina with minor trouble. There are several problems, unrelated to Catalina notarization and binary signing. The game executable doesn't have the correct permission bit to count as an executable, and the .App bundle is flagged by Safari as a download. Process: 1. Right-click the .app file and select 'get info'. Click the little lock on the bottom-right of the info window to unlock the bundle. 2. You need to open the Bonfire.app folder in Terminal, navigate to Contents/MacOS. Type 'cd ' without the quotes and drag the Bonfire.app bundle into the terminal window. Hit Enter. 3. Execute 'cd Contents/MacOS/' 4. Execute 'chmod +x ./Bonfire'. The next time you launch the application, MacOS GateKeeper should warn you the developer is not identified. Go to settings > Securtiy & Privacy and at the bottom of the 'general tab' you should be able to unlock the panel and approve Bonfire.app.

Thank you Dave for this research. I have no way of providing it myself as I don't have Apple hardware around. May I use this information on the post for the rest of mac users? Patreon is not doing a good job at displaying latest replies and yours was sadly buried under all those older replies.

Yes, it's downloading very slowly for me as well. Reckon I'll just check in on it in the morning.

Artem

Download is super slooooow.....

Peter

Hi. The Windows 0.7.1 download does not seem to work anymore. Cheers

>>37896982

What to say... on ne say pas "ouvrir le folder dans Terminal", "ni chercher Content/MacOS", on ne sait pas non plus le sauvegarder.

Colum6437

A propos de MAC (pour Dave on patreon) Je voudrais changer les suivant (d a w s x) en (d s e x w) histoire de franchiser de clavier. I would change (d a w s x) in (d a e x w) in french keyboard. Sur l'écran de choix, on le d'Input a cliquer, mais il répond "Input Configuration" avec la roue qui de valide rien. On the screen of choice, a click "Input", but he have answers "Input Configuration" with the wheels and never validate nothing. Comment on fait ? What we having to do ?

the media file is not there for 8.1

Morphbeast

I am having the same problem as Twest for the new update (8.2) for Windows. Nothing is there it just loads a blank page with no download. I tried the other links and they work for me, with downloads, but not the windows 8.2.

Anonymous

I can‘t use Mediafire.’

Hi there, how do you install the new patch while keeping your current progress? I imagine I should replace all but the save files when I overwrite?

Hogswild Prasetto
>>5247365

No need to do anything special, you just delete the old installation and extract the new; your progress is saved on your machine's local AppData so it is always persistent

oxstrongjuggernaut

Thank you for the information. Dave, could I ask you for clarification on the steps after step 1 please? I'm confused. In step 2 you say that the Bonfire.app folder needs to be opened in Terminal. Is this "navigate to Contents/MacOS. Type 'cd ' without the quotes and drag the Bonfire.app bundle into the terminal window. Hit Enter." the method of opening the Bonfire.app folder in Terminal? I'm sorry, please assume I do not know anything about computers. Where do you navigate to 'Contents/MacOS'? I think this is the part where I get lost, is that in Terminal or is that a part of the right-clicked menu for Bonfire in the 'get info' menu?

Dave

@oxstrongjuggernaut there’s a simpler way: Open terminal.app as you normally would, and type ‘cd’ and a space. Drag Bonfire.app from a Finder window into the terminal window and hit enter/return. Then type ‘chmod +x Contents/MacOS/Bonfire’ and hit enter/return. After that, you can open the application after you override a security prompt in Gatekeeper. Open the application and let MacOS complain. Then go System Preferences -> Security (Security and Privacy) and on the “General tab” you should see at the bottom a prompt about bonfire and a button that says “run anyway” or something to that effect

Artem

I'd love to see the story developing... :(

waiting for full game version :)

Paracelsus

Is there no way to package unity updates as "deltas" - only the changes to files, the same way GitHub handles code? I assume the bulk of each download is an unchanging set of core assets.

Hogswild Prasetto
>>6966628

I'd love the idea, but you need to understand that most people will not get how to apply a delta patch; some don't even know where to place the application for proper runtime, so dealing with "I can't apply patch because I skipped a version" issues are something I wouldn't want to deal with. Easier to just let everyone download the complete thing until I find a way to automate the patching process.

>>4304716

Same here so slow only 50kb/s . this only because of its mediafire. other websites works fine like Mega

Grifter Wolf

Quick question I'll check to see if it's been covered elsewhere for these patch updates do they just apply to the game automatically? Or do I have to move certain files across so I don't have to start all over?

Alex 'NeatWolf' Salvati

One on June and another update on September. Is the game still in development?

It seems that I haven't spoken in discord for a long time,so that I was kicked out to chat. I can't search discord now. Can someone help me
