August Update Blogpost 🌻 (Patreon)

Hello, my lovely friend!

As you already know I´m now back from my holidays and one-month Patreon break in July.

Me and my husband were so lucky with the weather during the holidays, it was veeeery warm and sunny nearly every day. I read a lot of books and we had a lot of pool days.

I hope you are having a great summer so far with lots of adventures and enjoying good weather!

I actually planned to at least sketch my Christmas product ideas during my holidays but I haven´t drawn at all, which is also ok as I think I needed that break from everything.

The veggies are also growing and growing, I have sooo many cucumbers that I already don´t know what to do with them. And for the first time I could grow carrots here, they are getting very big yaay!

Switzerland

After the two week holiday I was working for one and a half weeks. Mainly catching up on everything, answering a lot of emails and doing bookkeeping.

And then I was in Switzerland for 5 days :) Last year I took the train but this year I got there by plane and the plane had two and a half hours delay on the way to Switzerland which was sooo annoying for a flight that is only a bit over an hour... So next time I will definitely go there by train again haha

We actually planned to go to Grindelwald, and visit the mountains there but the weather there wasn´t that good for such a trip unfortunately.

So instead we visited Murten, a cute town by a big lake. And the town was just so lovely! I just love all these old houses and there was also a castle wall surrounding the town.

Back to work

And now I´m back in the studio again catching up on emails and everything else haha

I´m also starting to design thew Christmas/Winter products this week. I started today and it was sooo hard to sketch something for winter as currently there are over 30 degrees celsius outside and that should stay like that for the whole week.

But I wrote down all the product ideas that I had in my mind. I definitely won´t do everything as it´s just too much but I just like to write down as much as I can to clear my head.The products that are bold are the ones that I want to create for the shop update.

There also won´t be only Christmas and winter related products but also things that are usable all year around.

As you can see in the list, I also wrote down a Winter Themed Desk Mat. I´m not sure yet if I should design one, because that´s just too niched down for a desk mat and my autumn one with the pumpink already didn´t sell as good as I thought it would be.

But let me know in the comments if you would be interested in a winter desk mat! Maybe I will just order a few to test it out :)

Social Media

I´m currently having a hard time with posting on social media. Actually not currently but for the last 3 or 4 months.

I am posting very rarely to Instagram and nearly nothing to TikTok. I know that I now have more time for YouTube because of that but I can already see a big spiral down with Instagram. For about a month I´m not getting any new followers at all but started loosing followers and I haven´t had that since I started my account over 4 years ago...

And when I post the reach is just so down. I maybe reach 10% non-followers 😂

Hopefully I will get out of this over the next few weeks when I start promoting the next shop update again as Instagram is a big part of my income because of the collabs I get there...

Maybe I will just lay down now and edit a reel haha

But for now thank you so much for being here and reading this little blog post!I will try to post as much as possible here from the products creation and also make polls over the next few weeks for you to decide on products!
