November Update Blogpost (Patreon)

Hello you :)

It feels like I haven´t written an update blog post for ages, haha. Although I think I just skipped the one for last month because of shop preparation stress.

Sooo it´s already November and the year is slowly coming to an end. I just can´t believe how fast this year went by.

I also feel like I haven´t accomplished anything from my 2024 business plan besides focusing more on YouTube...

I had so many plans for this year like creating my first coloring book and Procreate brushes, or finally working on my Shopify shop but I kind of just had no time for any of them.

Which is somehow ok or I can somehow come to terms with it because I filmed a lot of YouTube videos and got a lot of brand collabs instead which is also super nice of course!

So at the beginning of November, I finally had my fall/winter shop update! I made a lot of products but most of them are not really Christmas-themed. I don´t know what it was this year but I absolutely wasn´t in the mood for drawing anything Christmas related... I had so many plans and also did some sketches but then ended up not finalizing or coloring them...

November started very sunny and warm, which is not usual here. I tried to be outside and in the forest as much as possible besides packing orders to soak in the rest of the sunshine before we got into the misty cloudy season. The forest is always SO beautiful during autumn when it's sunny. Also now at home, the sun is only visible from 9 am to 1 pm, then it´s behind the mountains, so only 4 hours of sunshine, and then it gets pretty dark inside the house which can be very exhausting over time. I´m always putting up as many lights as I can at the beginning of November so that it looks very cozy after the sun is gone :)

And then the mist and frost came! And stayed until now.

I have to say that I also love that kind of weather a lot. It always looks very magical here with all the trees and the mist covering them—almost like in a fairytale.

Yesterday it was snowing a little bit in the morning and I´m already so looking forward to snow covering everything ❄️

Now I´m also getting in the mood for drawing winter art haha

Maybe I will try to draw as much as I can this winter to use the illustrations for next year's winter shop update 🤔

I will continue working on the Patreon Rewards this week. I made the sketches on the weekend and started coloring them yesterday.

And it will be the first winter illustration of the year :)

I´m very happy with how the sketches turned out and hopefully, the final illustrations will be also as I imagine them!

I´m also planning a few changes for Patreon for next year. Nothing super big but just some things here and there so that it´s easier for me to work on the rewards and that I have more time for other business things like creating the Procreate brushes and finally building my Shopify shop!
