July Photo Dump & Update (Patreon)

Hello my lovely friends :)

So this months update is basically just my vacation that I had the first three weeks of July :)

This years summer is really weird, we had very nice summer weather here in June and the first week of July and after that we kinda already landed in Autumn. It was just raining and raining and raining or it was cold, like 15 degrees celsius. We even had some days with 10 degrees celsius which is just wiiiild for July. So no pool days, no being outside in nature all day which is really really sad. And still this weather should continue so I don´t think that we will get back to summer this year anymore...

But the first week of my vacation, I could lay in the sun and be in the pool and enjoy the sun, besides three days where we already got the firewood for winter and had to store it.

And then after this sunny week the rain came.

We already thought that the weather will be bad so we planned to finally finish building the bookshelf in the living room in my second vacation week. So we did that and I painted it dark blue.

The bookshelf will also get trims I think, I just need to find the right ones. And there's also the ceiling trim missing still, as we decided to make that when we paint the walls next winter.

The plan is to paint the walls and add trims kinda like in this Pinterest image:

The rest of the vacation, we spent a lot of time inside. I read a lot of books, and my husband played Xbox games. I finished the whole The Folk of the Air series, The Darkest Part Of The Forest, and started the Shatter Me series as well, finishing the first book and the first novella. I never read that much in such a short time in my life.

But we were also visiting our family and had a Vienna trip, as the weather there was definitely better than in the rest of Austria.

I haven´t drawn anything during my vacation. I actually planned to make the coloring book linework, or at least sketch in my new tiny sketchbook with my oil pastels, but I did nothing of that. I was kinda already thinking that it would be like that because I never touch a pencil or my iPad during my vacations, I don't know why.

The last week of July I wasn´t doing that much interesting stuff, I had to go through lots and lots of emails from the first three weeks and then pack the June Mail Club and just kinda start to get back to work, although I´m away now again from July 28th till August 3rd as I´m in Switzerland for this week. So yeah it was a bit hard for me to get back to working haha

I really hope you had a great summer so far with lot´s of swims and sunny and warm weather (not super hot of course because we don't like that either)!
