February Drawing Club Prompts & Moodboard (Patreon)

Here are the drawing club prompts and the moodboard for February!

Last month I unfortunately didn´t participate in the drawing club as I just could not find any time for it after being sick. I was so late with drawing the rewards for the mail club that this was the only thing I could focus on. But hopefully this month will get better for me haha :)

Sooo this month's theme is:

TEATIME TALES

Theme description:I was thinking of those cozy afternoons when you just want to sit down with a warm cup of tea and a blanket and enjoy stillness, or your favorite book. Or about sharing a moment with your best friend with a warm cup of tea, love that! Think of those beautiful vintage teapots and teacups, uuuh love that as well! I think that is a very lovely theme to combine with animals, and I always draw animals sipping tea haha! 🫖🧺

How does the Drawing Club work?

Use the prompts as inspiration for your drawings! Look through the moodboard, read the theme description, and sketch whatever comes to your mind. This is all about exploring, cozy practicing drawing, and having fun! The most important thing is having fun :)

You can use one prompt or combine some of them. You don´t have to use the moodboard, if you want create your own :) Start with some loose sketches, maybe fill a whole page just with sketches for one prompt? Then pick your favorites to create a finished illustration for this month.

This should be a really cozy, every-month activity, where you can sit down and practice drawing without any stress or pressure for it to be perfect! There's no right or wrong way to do it, just your own interpretation of the theme! ✨

You don´t have to use this mood board for your drawings. This is just an inspiration for you to make sketching and drawing easier! You can also make such a moodboard yourself if you want to, I always use images from Pinterest for it!
