April Drawing Club Prompts & Moodboard (Patreon)

Here are finally the drawing club prompts and the moodboard for April!

Hope that you still want to use them although April is getting to an end soon :)

So this month the theme is:

RAINY DAYS

Theme description:April is one of those months where the weather can change constantly. Here, where I live, we go from snow to sun and super warm to cold and rainy within days. So this month’s theme is all about rainy days! Like that sound of rain against the windows, those beautiful foggy landscapes after the rain, rainy forests and how they smell. So again something pretty cozy 🌧️

You don´t have to use this mood board for your drawings. This is just an inspiration for you to make sketching and drawing easier! You can also make such a moodboard yourself if you want to, I always use images from Pinterest for it!

I have, as always, added both images to this post so that you can download them and use them while drawing  :)

How does the Drawing Club work?

Use the prompts as inspiration for your drawings! Look through the moodboard, read the theme description, and sketch whatever comes to your mind. This is all about exploring, cozy practicing drawing, and having fun! The most important thing is having fun :)

You can use one prompt or combine some of them. You don´t have to use the moodboard, if you want create your own :) Start with some loose sketches, maybe fill a whole page just with sketches for one prompt? Then pick your favorites to create a finished illustration for this month.

This should be a really cozy, every-month activity, where you can sit down and practice drawing without any stress or pressure for it to be perfect! There's no right or wrong way to do it, just your own interpretation of the theme! ✨
