A little Patreon Update 🧡 (Patreon)

Hey you! I wanted to give you a little update about some changes that I`m making to the Patreon rewards.

I think you may have already noticed that I`ve been struggling a little to keep up with some of the rewards lately. I`ve been skipping parts of the Drawing Club more often than I`d like, and I in general am constantly behind with all the work I have to do 😅

🍄 DIGITAL PALS CHANGES:

The Digital Downloads are of course staying like they are now!

The Drawing Club is changing a bit:The monthly theme, mood board and drawing prompts will still be here every month! I know many of you really enjoy having these monthly drawing sessions, and a few months ago when I made a poll asking if you even want to keep the Club, several of you have even told me that the Drawing Club is one of the main reasons you joined Patreon.

What I`m changing is that I won`t create a finished illustration for the Drawing Club every month anymore.

You`ll still get the monthly theme, mood board and prompts so it will be a source of inspiration for you to practice illustration monthly with these cute prompts wihtout the pressure to think of what to draw.

l will share my own sketches whenever I feel inspired by the theme (and have the time to draw haha).

🌼 CREATIVE CLUB CHANGES:

The Drawing Guides are staying, but I`m changing the focus a bit!

I want to move them a little more towards illustration as a whole, rather than mainly focusing on how to draw a specific animal, I´ve talked about that in a previous Drawing Guide post already a bit.

I`ve realized that there are so many things I personally want to get better at in my own illustrations, things like composition, lighting, atmosphere, color, storytelling and so much more... So instead of having you decide what specific thing I should teach next, I`ll from now on be choosing the topics.

For example, I really want to get better at using light in my illustrations and creating more atmosphere through lighting. So one month we might explore how to use light to create a cozy mood. So I want us to learn and experiment together!

I`ll still take you through my process from the sketch to the finished piece of course so the look of the drawing guides will stay the same! And I will of course also still make the usual how to draw an animal Guides but not every month anymore :)

The monthly time-lapse videos will stay as they are.

💌 The Mail Club stays exactly as it is!

But theres a little change to the Past Mail Club rewards!

Over the years of my Mail Club I collected quite a few leftover Mail Club rewards and they are currently just sitting in storage waiting for someone to give them a home through the Secret Patreon Shop. I have soooo many of them now, and it feels like such a shame to keep them tucked away when they could actually be enjoyed by more people!

As you know until now I only made these past Mail Club items available through the Patreon Secret Shop but now I´d like to start offering them in my regular shop as well.

I will offer them to you at a lower price in the Patreon Secret Shop!

And in my regular shop, they will be available at a slightly higher price.

I`ll be adding them to the shop when I have time to get everything listed and organized!

I really want Patreon to continue being something I can keep up with consistently, rather than something that constantly makes me feel like I`m behind on work. I love creating for Patreon and lately I feel so so bad about not being able to finish all the rewards for you...

I think these changes will help me combine my Patreon work with my normal creative process much better as currently I´m constantly creating completely separate projects for Patreon and my shop and when I can decide on the art for the Drawing Guide I hope that I can also use that illustration for my shop, for example.
