Here are the drawing club prompts and the moodboard for October!
This month the theme is:
A COZY SPOOKY SEASON
Theme description:Everything starts to feel a little more spooky! The days are getting shorter, the evenings are getting darker, and Halloween is just around the corner. The perfect time for pumpkin carving, spooky forest walks, ghosts, black cats, and all the cozy things that make this season so fun!! So this month’s theme is all about the cozy and spooky side of fall!

I have, as always, added both images to this post so that you can download them and use them while drawing :)

How does the Drawing Club work?
Use the prompts as inspiration for your own drawings, especially if you have no idea what to draw! Look through the mood board, read the theme description, and sketch whatever comes to your mind. This is all about exploring, cozy practicing, and having fun! There`s absolutely no pressure for your drawings to be perfect. You can use one prompt, combine several of them, or completely ignore the prompts and create your own interpretation of the theme. The mood board is there for inspiration, but you definitely don`t have to follow it, you can make your own as well if you want to, I always use images from Pinterest for my moodboards!
Start with some loose sketches and let yourself explore different ideas. Maybe fill a whole page with little sketches for just one prompt, try different compositions, or simply doodle whatever comes to mind.
There is no right or wrong way to approach the theme, it`s all about your own interpretation and having a cozy little drawing session for yourself!
And if you want, please share your sketches, final illustrations, thoughts or struggles in our Drawing Club Chat here on Patreon! I`d love for this chat to become a cozy and safe space where you can talk about art, share your work, ask questions, or simply just chat with other people who love drawing.
I will also be exploring the themes myself whenever I feel inspired by them (and have time haha)! I may share some of my own sketches, ideas or illustrations throughout the month, especially when a Drawing Club theme sparks an idea for a product design or even the next mail club.
