.Spring in the Mountains. (Patreon)

I´m absolutely in love with spring! I think, I could say it´s my favorite season. Especially since I live in the mountains, I enjoy it more than ever, when everything around me turns green and blooms. And when you are surrounded by pure nature you simply perceive the turn of the year much more strongly.

Since the beginning of spring, I started sowing seeds for veggies and summer blooms. I planted sooo much, and as  my husband and I don`t have a glasshouse yet, we have to store all that little growings in our bedroom with an plant light.. hope to fix that next year!

Last week we also planted a looot of potatoes, and I´m already thinking of where to store them in autumn. We have plowed the gardening bed and prepared it for the plants. The work in the garden is so wonderful,  when you look up and all you can see is forest.

There's also been a lot of wildlife in the garden, which is so lovely to see. Butterflies and bees, loving that the wildflowers are finally blooming. At night it's bats that fly and zoom around the house and owls howl!

And as you might have noticed in my Instagram Stories - we got chickens! we got them at the age of 6 weeks and now 4 weeks later they are so big. incredible how fast they grow.

We built the stable and the run ourselves, I wanted it not only to be a great home for the chickens but also to fit in with the surroundings and look attractive to us. And I LOVE how it turned out! I still have a few ideas on how to beautify it but I'll tell you more about it another time. Will make a separate post about it soon :)
