🌼 June Update Blog 🌼 (Patreon)

Hi you! I hope you had a lovely month! Can’t believe that half of the year is already over 😯

This month was kind of busy for me, because I was working with friends of mine on restauring a Marian column in a town nearby. So I didn’t have much time to work on my shop or draw. I was just so tired every evening 😅

But I still wanna update you on some things that happened and also about the current stage of the garden 🌱

As I told you in my last blogposts, I’ve worked on another childrens book for a client that will selfpublish it. I showed you some of the final pages in the last blog and now the cover is finally finished Yaay ☺️

Here it is:

So happy with it 🧡

My client will make the text Layout by herself and I’m really excited how it will then look printed!

And today I finished a lovely commissioned illustration. It’s for the birthday party of a cute little boy and I have drawn him with his Dow in an „up movie“ balloon flying over marshmallow land 😅 drawing this was going comepletely out of my comfort zone because of the colors, drawing a child and a marshmallow Land haha but I really like how it turned out!

And that was everything I did this month besides of taxes, some design work and packing orders 😅

Oh and I also wanted to inform you about the animal adventures drawing challenge that I‘m hosting with some other illustrators. The last years we made that challenge during June but this year it will be from July 25th till July 31st! We will share the announcement post on July first so that everyone has Anouilh time to prepare. I really hope that you will join us 🥰 and of course I will share all the Sketches for it with you!

And now let’s talk a bit about the garden 🌱

We build 2 raised beds this month and the veggie plants are growing soooo fast in them!

I already harvested my first zucchini and of course a lot of the salad and herbs 🌿

So it was a very good choice to make raised beds! And it’s also soooo much easier to work when you don’t have to knee on the ground.

The flowers in the garden are also blooming and everything is just sooo sooo pretty during this time of the year 🥰

Oh and we bought a pool 😀 we will build it next weekend, but we already prepared the ground a bit for it. On the right image you can also see a chicken that escaped from the chicken coop 😂

So and that’s it for this months update!

For July I plan to work on my shop again and hopefully to finally add a feedback Tier to my patreon.

Wish you all a lovely rest of June 🧡🧡🧡
