May Update Blog 🌼 (Patreon)

Hello, and welcome to this month's Update blog!

I hope you had a great month so far! Everything is finally blooming here and it is just soooo beautiful outside again but we also had looooots of rain! Spring is my favorite time of the year (besides autumn) when it´s not that hot outside but already warm enough for summer dresses and skirts 🧡

I´m also very inspired lately and having a lot of fun drawing!

I designed lots of new products and there also will be a little shop update this weekend, you are the first ones I´m telling this!

I made 2 new magnetic bookmarks, they´re currently my favorite product to make at home!

Then I also made my first suncatcher sticker, but only 6 pieces as I´m just trying out if you will like them.

Then there will be two new notepads, finally again! One with the strawberry fox and one with the blueberry. Thank you my lovely Patrons for helping me to decide on a design for them!

And what I´m most excited about are my three new sticker sheets! Two of them are transparent and one is a borderless design (so you can layer them aaaah)!

Lastly, there will also be the journal available that I reordered and that has a different color than the first one. I will list it as another color variation with a little discount, as the journals itself still have an amazing quality. It´s just the background color that is more yellow and it´s more vibrant.

I´m writing with Vograce back and forth regarding them. They told me that when printing notebooks they can´t promise that they will turn out the same every time, so there will always be a color difference when reordering. I really don´t understand that, because why should someone reorder from them when you never know how the colors will then turn out, that´s really not professional at all and I never heard such a reason from a printing company.

As I already worked a few times with Vograce and had collabs with them and never had an issue with the collabs I still hope that they will reprint them...

The pins and patches that I showed to you in a previous Update also should arrive today, hopefully. Then I will also take the product pics of them before the weekend so that they can also be part of the update! Sooo excited for them omg! 😅

And I also already ordered products for the next shop update after this one!

So I´m waiting for three new washi tapes, 2 sticky notes, 2 clear stamp designs, and a wooden stamp!

I tried to make a more like a collection with the designs this time (except the wooden stamp). Creating the clear stamps was A LOT of fun so I´m hoping that everyone will like them too so that I can make more designs!

I´m also still trying to figure out how I want to draw the future sticker sheets so that can finish them a bit faster than now.

I definitely want to make more sticker sheets without these white borders so this will be a style for them that I want to keep.

Then I tried to simplify my drawing technique for the other sticker sheet variations (clear and normal vinyl with white border) but can´t decide what I like more.

Either the left version with brown outlines around everything and flat colored (I ordered the sticky notes with that design to see how it looks printed) or the right version (that definitely takes way longer) that is created just a bit simpler than I draw now so not everything is colored in my scribbly way. Or maybe I should just make both variations available? I don´t know 🤣

Let me know what you like more! Because I still think that a lot of the details of the right version are getting lost when printing as sticker sheets.
