Switzerland Holidays Blog - I`M BACK (Patreon)

Hello, my lovely Patron 💛

I´m back in the studio again after a much-needed holiday break.

I actually thought I would work during my week in Switzerland and finish the Mail Club Goodies there, but I haven't done anything. So I´m very sorry that I haven´t posted this month's goods yet. I will finish them this week, I promise ☺️

I also think that this was my very first holiday since I´m self-employed where I haven´t worked at all 😅

I usually always at least worked on Patreon, packed orders, or prepared social media posts because we always were at home during our holidays, since we moved here. (working on the house & garden, and then there was covid...)

Sooo, now let me tell you a bit about the week in Switzerland!

I never was in Switzerland before, and as my husband is currently working there in Bern, we thought it would be a good opportunity for me to visit him so that we can discover the country together for a bit.

I went there by train. It was an 8-hour train ride, my longest ever haha

And on the first day, we visited Bern. The old town center of it is really beautiful, the river is soo clear and we also saw the Bern bears eating watermelon 🐻

I found a vintage doll store that was a bit creepy but somehow fascinating as you can see in the picture 😅

Then on Saturday, we went to Greyerz to visit the H.R. Giger Museum. I always wanted to visit it!

We got there very early before all the tourists came and could enjoy the little town completely alone for the first hour. 

There is also a castle from 1270 that we visited too. The rooms in there were adorable! I loved all the furniture and the wall paintings so much!

The next day we were in Thun and visited the Lake. The water was also crystal clear. 

We stopped at a lovely bar with an amazing lake view and then went back to Thun City by a little ship. 

The next day was the hottest so we went to another lake with a sandy beach. To just lay in the sun and swim all day. 

It was sooo relaxing!

And on the last day, I was in Bern City again for a bit of shopping. I was in a Sephora store for the first time 😅 as we don´t have one here.

There also was a little store only with children's books. The "Chinderbuechlade Bern" and I bought a children's book about a badger with Nora Brech illustrations.

Then Thursday was the day when I went home by train again for 8 hours.

Now I´m slowly getting back into work again. I planned the whole week and have A LOT to do. I´m also still waiting for my new products that are still stuck in customs...

I will pack orders and June Mail Club today, tomorrow I have to finish a client illustration, and the following days I will work on Patreon stuff.
