July Update (Patreon)

Oh my, this was a month!

Getting back to work after my holiday was so hard this time and I haven´t expected that I will have so much work to catch up on. So this month was kinda a mess.

I planned to start working on Christmas products because I´m always way too late with that but I again still haven´t started 🤦‍♀️

I also haven´t sketched anything besides Patreon stuff and for a client project so I even don´t know which secret sketches to post this month 😂

Last week I mainly worked on the shop update preparation as my products finally arrived after I got back from holidays. I was hoping to make the shop update last weekend but I forgot to order the right shipping boxes for the new wider washi tape and wooden stamps as they don´t fit in the boxes I have in the studio...

Soooo now the shop update will be this Friday at 2 pm CEST!

There will be 3 new washi tape designs available, 2 clear stamp sheets, a wooden stamp, 2 new bookmarks, and the patch I made a while ago.

And then last week something very exciting happened! I got an email from xTool if I´m interested in testing one of their laser engraving machines, the xTool M1 😳 

I of course said yes and now I´m having such a thing standing in my studio!

And it´s so wild what this machine is able to do. I can laser cut and engrave on sooooooo many materials even glass cups or steel tumblers.

That means I will soon have such a wider range of self-made products in my shop, I´m very excited :)

I already played around with it a bit and tested it on wood. So I´m definitely gonna make wooden earrings and I also plan to make engraved wooden coasters and if it will really work out then also engraved beerglasses with straws and a lid! I will also test jewelry of course. I got some steel pendants to test laser engraving on. But before selling them I want to wear them myself to see how good the material is.

I´m very sorry again that I´m so late with everything this month and that I can´t keep up with the promised schedule! I hope you still enjoy your rewards and goodies 💛
