Here´s this months illustration walkthrough of one of the Drawing Club Sketches:

The process of this illustration went somehow like this:

First I made the sketch as always, and then I picked the colors for the illustration

I filled in the background with a darker color and started drawing the ghost.

Then I focused on the background, drawing the trees with a textured brush and the pumpkins with the 6B pencil already adding details to them

The next step was drawing the lamp the ghost is holding

Then I drew the light of the lamp shining behind it and on the ghost and pumpkins

Lastly, I added green ground and some texture to the background color

I hope you like this little illustration walkthrough!

Do you use Procreate’s standard settings for the 6B Pencil ? I feel like my lines/shading tend to come out a lot more opaque and harsh looking!

yes I use the standard settings, I just copied the brush and made one a bit bigger. maybe that´s why it´s not looking that opaque. but I also don´t use a lot of pressure when drawing :)
