You must have missed the articles debunking the climate change connection to that hailstorm. Basically there was a hail storm and the hail was washed to valleys by strong rains/flooding. The region didn't just get 6ft of hail dumped on it. Of course I believe in anthropomorphic climate catastrophe, and it may have contributed to this event, but the more reliable evidence is trends/statistics and not outliers.
