I was really unhappy with previous skin change tests because it looked very "flat" (literally), The reason for it was just a texture change but without any bumps and deformations going along with it. I tried and in my opinion succeeded in improving on that.

What do you think about these? (High quality versions as download below)

I love them but I think the skin change should be slower and more separated. Like it's slowly trying to connect itself. Kinda like the first TF from 'Morphing Potions', but slower and more splotchy. Hope you get what I mean.

in the transition, the skin looks unhealthy. like it‘s scared or burned.

I think you nailed the pigmentation flow of the change. I really like the texture also. A lot better than just a “wave” effect I see a lot. Nicely done.
