Another unscheduled hiatus, which I really try to avoid. That said, I’d rather take a break when I feel I need it than push through and deliver something I’m not happy with. I’m truly sorry for the wait, and I’m incredibly grateful for the patience you’ve given me. My last proper vacation—where I stepped away from my PC, went outside, and got a full mental reset—was 1.5 years ago. I took another one last week, and I’ve realized I need at least one like this per year. The next one is already scheduled for April 2027, so I’m hopeful this will help prevent any more unplanned breaks in the near future.

Plans:

I know many of you have been waiting for the sound for Formula X — it’s my top priority right now. I’ll try to start the next comic simultaneously and aim to share some WIPs for both (and potentially the first page) next week.If I feel like there’s some space left, I’ll slowly but surely begin working on the Magic Potion project. Right now, though, I want to get Formula X done as quickly as possible.Refunds:

As always, I’m offering refunds for April to everyone except first-time pledgers and those on their first month of the Ultimate tier. Patreon recently added the ability to request refunds for specific pledges. You’ll find a short guide above that explains how to locate it. Please make sure to select the correct creator and pledge (by date) before submitting your request and don't abuse this system. I check every request, and abusing it will just result in more unnecessary work for me.New Bonus Clips:

I added a new batch of bonus clips under the Bronze Reward Folder > Non-Exclusive Animation > AI Slop on MEGA. I'll probably post one batch a week for the foreseeable future. I'll keep you updated on any uploads.

That's it for now. I'll go back to posting smaller updates every few days on the Patreon chat. Have a great weekend!

You know, I'd rather you not try to worry so much about "making up for lost time" and the like. A lot of the time I see you come back after one of these hiatuses by slapping yourself with extra work, which seems to me like it contributes to your workload. I don't want to tell you how to organize your time or anything, because lord knows my brain actually works better when I have a few projects to bounce between and you might be the same way. I just don't want you to feel like you *have* to take on these extra workloads because of hiatuses. Especially as it would probably contribute to burnout longterm if you overwork yourself.

To be completely honest with you, I think you might be taking on a bit too much at once, and that could be part of why you’ve needed to step back or take breaks here and there. It seems like your workload is piling up, and that kind of pressure can make it hard to stay consistent or actually enjoy what you’re creating. You might find things more manageable and more sustainable if you focused on one project at a time, really giving it your full attention, and then easing into the next once you’re close to finishing. There’s no need to push yourself to the point of burnout. Your work already speaks for itself; it’s genuinely strong, and people recognize that. You don’t have to keep proving it by overloading yourself or saying yes to everything. It could help to be more selective, especially with commissions, so you’re not stretched too thin or constantly under pressure to deliver. Also, good communication is really important. Being clear about your availability, timelines, and limits can make a big difference for both you and the people supporting your work. It helps manage expectations and takes some of that weight off your shoulders. At the end of the day, taking care of yourself matters just as much as the work you produce. Your audience will still be there, and they’d rather see you healthy, consistent, and actually enjoying what you do than overwhelmed and burned out. Just trying to look out for you and give some honest feedback/input. Take care, stay strong, and know your fans/supporters are here for you! Looking forward to your next post and Formula X!

I agree with the rest of the comments! Don't overdo work for "lost time." I remember you used to have a Trello, maybe that would help? Just a suggestion! As an aside, despite being called "AI Slop" those are some excellent bonus clips!

Surody

I think I generally need to more consistent for a long time to make Trello work.
