I had been wanting to try Jean Georges at the Aria for awhile and finally got a chance to go. It's a lovely restaurant with delicious food and good service. Appetizers included oysters and shrimp with yummy sauces. The Japanese F1 Waygu filet with Hudson Valley foie gras was a tasty entree with creamed spinach and mushrooms as sides. The finale was a decadent slice of cheesecake with lemon and lime sorbet. Heaven!

My drink of choice was Angel's Envy. It's always interesting to see what kind of whiskey and bourbons a restaurant will carry. I was really in the mood for a whiskey to go with my steak and I didn't want to be too adventurous. A lot of places seem to carry Angel's Envy and it's one of my favorites. I have to admit that it was more about the steak and they went well together. It made for a very happy girl. 🥰
