More asking why someone would ask her to wear a bra (I'm assuming) and now I realise that there are indeed 'certain' people who would ask that question... though back pain does make more sense to me since there seems to be a little familiarity towards the speaker. Don't think an acquaintance would ask that unless they're super nervous and ran out of ways to continue the convo.
