Utility 3000R – New Configuration in Development
Hey everyone!
I’ve started working on a new configuration setup for the Utility 3000R trailer. This update focuses on improving compatibility and multiplayer stability, while also expanding customization options for players who like to fine-tune every detail of their rigs.
SCS-Compatible Body Type
The new configuration will use the SCS body type, which means it’ll be fully compatible with standard SCS cargo and ZeeMods’ Audio Rework.
This change should fix the issue some players have been experiencing in convoy sessions, where the trailer doors appear open or out of sync between players. With this setup, the rear doors will remain closed and won’t function — but the original functional door version will still be available for those who prefer it.
Trailer Reefer Unit Operation and Sounds
Thanks to ZeeMods’ Audio Rework, you can now actually hear the reefer unit running to keep the produce inside properly cooled. The sound adds a new level of immersion to your hauls, especially during idle stops and loading.
You’ll also be able to manually set the reefer unit to one of three modes:
Auto – runs only when cooling is needed
Continuous – stays running for constant cooling
Off – completely disables the reefer
This system brings the trailer to life and adds realistic functionality for anyone running reefer-based cargo.
New Door & Accessory Options
Along with this new setup, I’m adding several customization upgrades to give the 3000R even more visual flexibility:
Painted and polished rear doors
Chrome vent options
Painted hardware accessories for a cleaner, more uniform finish
These new additions should blend perfectly with the trailer’s aluminum bodywork and offer a variety of looks for different setups.
What’s Next
Once the new configuration is complete, I’ll be testing it in convoy to confirm proper syncing and compatibility with ZeeMods’ Audio Rework. From there, I’ll fine-tune materials and visuals before pushing it out in the next major update.
