Last time, you heard dispatch confirm a pickup the moment the freight was loaded onto the trailer. This cue comes earlier—while you are still driving toward the next stop.
In the video above, I am traveling down the road with a multi-pickup route active. No menus need to stay open, so your eyes can remain on the road.
As I approach the next checkpoint, dispatch comes over the radio to let me know a pickup is coming up. The overlay identifies the company, giving me enough time to slow down, locate the entrance, and back into the loading area. Once the pickup is completed, another voice cue confirms it.
Heads-up first. Confirmation second.
That is the current rhythm of voice cue assistance in ATS Dispatch Pro.
What You’re Hearing
The voice you hear in this video is Christina, one of the English voice options currently available in ATS Dispatch Pro. The Pickup Approaching cue activates as you get close to a pickup checkpoint along your planned route.
These checkpoints are not randomly placed. They use real companies pulled directly from your map data. Each location is matched to your cargo and trailer body type, then positioned along the route you are actually driving.
Simply enable Pickups in the overlay, choose how many stops you want, and the route planner handles the rest.
A Few Details to Watch For
Each stop is announced only once. There are no repeated warnings or constant interruptions. You receive the heads-up, and then it is up to you to make the turn.
Voice cues also never stack on top of each other. If a new checkpoint is located close to your previous stop, the approaching call waits until the confirmation cue has finished. Every line is given room to breathe.
The Full Voice Cue Sequence
With this video, you have now heard two of the five voice cues built into ATS Dispatch Pro:
Pickup approaching
Pickup confirmation
Drop-off approaching
Drop-off confirmation
Final delivery call
Together, these cues guide you through an entire multi-stop haul without requiring you to constantly look away from the road.
Fully Configurable
Everything can be adjusted from the Settings menu.
You can change voice packs, control the volume, use simple chimes instead, or disable audio completely. A Test button is also included so you can preview each voice before starting your haul.
Coming Up Next
The next part of the series will cover the drop-off side—the approach cue as you near a delivery and the confirmation cue once you park and complete the stop.
Same system. Real companies, real telemetry, and real-time assistance.
