ATS Trailer Manager Crash Fix: Entire Dro Modding Catalog Updated (Patreon)

Dro Modding — August 2026
The latest Dro Modding catalog update is officially live. This ATS Trailer Manager crash fix resolves the intermittent crashes some players experienced when opening the Trailer Manager or loading into the game with a Dro Modding trailer attached. Every trailer pack, along with the HQ Trailer Light Pack and Trailer Wheels Pack, has been reviewed and updated.
What Was Causing the Crashes?
Several supporters reported that ATS would suddenly crash to the desktop when opening the Trailer Manager. In some cases, the crash happened while loading into the game with a Dro Modding trailer attached. There was usually no warning or useful error message.
After extensive testing, we traced the problem to duplicated data inside the trailer model files.
Every 3D model contains a list of its available “looks,” including paint, chrome, and company skin variations. A typical model may contain anywhere from one to 30 looks. Because of an issue in the previous build process, some models contained the same looks hundreds of times, causing the list to reach the game engine’s limit of 1,023 entries.
The game could often ignore the extra data during normal gameplay. However, certain menu especially the Trailer Manager could attempt to access data outside the expected range and cause an immediate crash. This is why the problem appeared intermittent and did not affect every player in the same way.

What This Update Means for You
Trailer Manager crashes have been resolved. You can open the Trailer Manager, browse your trailers, and configure your fleet without the previous intermittent crashes.
Loading crashes have been resolved. The mod should no longer cause intermittent crashes while loading into the game with a trailer attached.
Files are cleaner and more efficient. Removing duplicated model data reduces unnecessary file weight and may improve loading.
Your existing content remains intact. Skins, paint jobs, wheels, accessories, and trailer options have not been removed.
Your saves and owned trailers remain safe. You do not need to start a new profile.
What You Need to Do
Update Every trailer you currently use to its newest version. This includes HQ Trailer Light Pack, and Trailer Wheels Pack.
Some packs share models and accessories. Mixing newly updated trailers with older light or wheel pack files may allow outdated data to remain active.
For the cleanest installation:
Remove the previous Dro Modding files from your mod folder.
Download the latest versions of every pack you use.
Install the updated files together.
Confirm that the updated versions are enabled in Mod Manager.
If you sent crash logs, screenshots, or testing information over the past few weeks, thank you. Those reports helped me isolate the cause and complete this fix.
If you experience another issue after installing all updated files, reproduce the problem and send your latest game.log.txt for review.
