The Ravens Flatbed Rework Is Taking Shape

The Ravens Flatbed is receiving a major overhaul, and it is already shaping up to be one of its best updates yet.

This rework goes beyond a few quick fixes. Materials, textures, chassis configurations, accessories, and visual details are all being revisited to improve realism and bring the trailer up to the quality of the latest Dro Modding releases.

Reworked Materials and Textures

Various materials and textures have been rebuilt for a more realistic in-game appearance.

The signature swirl finish looks better than ever, with improved detail, cleaner definition, and a more convincing reaction to the game’s lighting.

Other texture improvements include:

Reworked wood textures

Improved wood normal maps

More realistic surface depth and grain

Updated airbag textures

Better material definition throughout the trailer

Reworked UI shadows for a cleaner presentation

These changes give the trailer more depth and help the smaller details stand out without making the materials look exaggerated or overdone.

Updated Accessory System

The toolbox accessory system has been updated alongside the:

Mudflap brackets

Axle light panel

Mudflaps

Previously, many of these accessories were attached or grouped together, which limited how much players could customize their trailers.

The updated system gives you more flexibility and control over the final setup, making it easier to build the Ravens Flatbed around your preferred style instead of being locked into preattached accessory combinations.

Updated 48FT Chassis Options

The original 48FT tri-axle chassis has been reworked into a proper spread configuration, improving both its proportions and overall realism.

A brand-new 48FT quad-axle variant has also been added, expanding the available configurations and giving players another heavy-duty setup to build around.

The updated 48FT lineup now includes:

Reworked proper-spread tri-axle chassis

New quad-axle chassis option

Improved axle placement and proportions

Proper 53FT Quad Spread

The 53FT quad-axle chassis has also received a major correction.

It has been rebuilt into a proper 98/72/72 spread, giving it more accurate axle spacing and a much more realistic stance.

This configuration looks far better under the trailer and brings the 53FT quad closer to the real-world setups it was designed to represent.

Still More to Come

There are still a few areas to address before the rework is complete, but the Ravens Flatbed is coming together nicely.

I also plan to revisit every definition file containing weight information, from the chassis configurations to the individual cargo weights, to ensure the values are accurate and realistic. Once that review is complete, I’ll begin introducing new cargo options to expand what the trailer can haul.

With improved materials, sharper textures, upgraded normal maps, a more flexible accessory system, corrected axle spacing, realistic weight definitions, and new chassis options, this is becoming much more than a visual refresh.

All of the pictures above showcase the new chassis configurations and updated details included in the Ravens Flatbed rework. Combined with the upcoming Trailer Wheels v3 update, these improvements are going to push the trailers and the overall level of realism to another level.

Dro Modding, where every update is better than the last.

Is there an estimated time frame for this release?

Dro Modding

I don’t want to rush it just to release it this weekend, but I can confirm it’ll be out by next Friday. The entire catalog is being updated again with numerous fixes and new content, so I want to make sure everything is ready before release.

Hello, and thank you! I’m aware of a few minor bugs with the map mod support. It was released as a beta and still needs quite a bit of work. I’ve been working on an update to address these issues, and I’m aiming to have both the website and plugin updated within the next couple of weeks.
