Small release update! (Patreon)

Hey guys!

I just wanted to write this to inform everyone that sadly, todays comic release will not be possible. Work was going well, but things became a bit longer than anticipated and no matter how much I tried, I was not able to finish everything in time. So I must ask for your patience for a few more days to finish. 

But if everyone wants it, I can upload the first 25 pages for now so I have something, or is it better to have everything up at once later? What do you think?

I'm not a fan of this piece by piece release. But i can understand the will to release something to shorten the wait. But you should wait and release the comic when it's done.

I’d like to see what you have done so far. If you release the 25 pages today those of us who want to view them can. The people who want to wait for the whole comic can simply choose not to look at it and wait until you do the next release before viewing it

I will always says artists choice but i'm also happy to see some now some later 25 is a good amount of pages :D

Personally I don't think it'll matter to me for which way you choose because in the end after I'm done reading it I'll get that same look Herbert the pervert gets when he gets Chris's hat lol. I honestly like most of the work youve put out, if i get it now or a week from now i am fairly certain i will find some enjoyment from it. Booth options are totally acceptable for me, only can recommend to choose the way which is easier for you.

I have no problem with waiting a few more days. I know that rushing something doesn't usually give the best results, so taking the time to do things right is often worth the wait, especially if it makes things easier on you.

Both now and for future reference, I for one am fine with you uploading incomplete chapters in order to have something to upload, so long as you tell us that that's what you're doing. As opposed to framing it as a chapter in itself and increasing the nominal number of chapters. That way, someone can wait until the whole chapter is finished before reading it if they want to, and if one does read it they aren't expecting a more satisfying ending. I mention this because I felt that some of the chapter breaks in A Fair Trade came at awkward points, which I felt harmed the pacing. Again, this is solvable by simply acknowledging in the post that you're cutting off here due to it taking a long time and wanting to have something to upload.

I agree. As I say in more detail in my comment below, I think this is perfectly fine so long as Sitri tells us that that's what they're doing.

I think I always tried to cut at a good enough point, but you might have a point that it not always gone that well. But thanks your opinion and insight.
