Valentine's date (Patreon)

Hey guys!

Just a quick... and little late Valentin's picture of big bad Mixie. Who can have her sweeter side as well.

So, I hope everyone had a fun Valentine's day and got something nice or naughty from your special person :)

And just a little update on comic progress. I'm almost done with the New Intern ending I will have it ready this weekend. It really took a lot longer thanks to my poor time management... and Batman Arkham City. That game is still awesome.

But I also have a question to everyone. I still have the remaining half of the month to work on at least one or two comic project. So i'm curious which one would you prefer first. The epilogue of New intern, which is the shortest. Continue My Heroes, or give a shot to a Valentines comic that I wrote. It's a fun 130 pages long comic, but it would most likely slip into March to finish it.

Please let me know till I finish New Intern.

Finish what you have in process. intern > gamenight > initiation (those two chicks changing after alcohol) > carnival > aaannndddd then maybe will be time for valentine again

Finish ongoing projects before starting new stuff. My biggest request/ suggestion is that you shorten some of the comics you're writing. I don't think you actually have that much of a problem generating pages. But it seems like a "small" project, maybe a short little comic, frequently ends up being 250 pages, often with lots of stuff before the transformation. You're actually generating lots of pages. But it seems like your work is so stalled because all of your comics are several times longer than they need to be. They're not bad. But all of your works might be easier to keep up with if they were more concise? I don't know. This is what it feels like to me.

I think that you should find out what your fans think of the amount of non-transformation pages in your comics. How many people enjoy them, how many people consider them a waste of space, how many people are somewhere in between. People can offer their opinions in the comments, but that's anecdotal; I think you need actual data.

Happy Valentines, Sitri! :) I am a big supporter of finishing projects before moving onto the next one, because I almost never do and it's caused me no end of headaches. Lol! :D

I personally like to have multiple projects running, as you know. I do this because it helps me focus - my head would otherwise burst with ideas... or I might go crazy. (I'm probably crazy already). But I also know that a community has to support this, being there while one or more projects develop simultaneously. Reading through the comments here, I would suggest you handle it like you did in the past, Sitri. Since 'The new Intern' seems to be nearing completion, I would finish that first.

I guess to make adecision I'd need to know what the plot of this Valentine's comic is and if it will still get done in the future if we vote for something else.

Thank you for your opinion. I think I will get the New Intern comic finished first and then move on to something else. And don't worry, I don't think you're crazy. I mean i'm not, even the voices in my head told me so XD

I can't tell much to not spoil the fun, but it's a story where someone learns an imprtant lesson to not judge others. You could compare it to Beauty and The beast a little? But after all the comments I think it will be reserved for later.

I'm 100% agree with you on that. I realized it some time ago too, so after my current two long comics are done I will try to limit upcoming regular comics aroud 150 pages max. At least that's my plan. I still might do some longer comics occasionally if the tone requires it to be a slow burn story. But I will try to keep some of my longer intros as well. I noticed that the impacts of transformations hit harder if the reader gets to know the characters better. It becomes a little more personal. So I will try to keep this part of the comics. What do you think?

That's not a bad idea. I know most of my later comics became overbloated and I will fix that. Really want to see Initiation continued then Carnival. Love the bimbo transformation in both those so I'm waiting to see how it continues with Initiation then what the next transformation is for Carnival.

Sounds fun. I admit I'm also in the finish New Interns and Heroes first camp. Though I personally don't mind the longer comics and showing more of the aftermath of the changes. Also love the Valentines image. Still hoping for a Mixie centric comic one day soon.

If I remember correctly I think Initiation got corrupted in some way that makes it impossible to continue without Sitri recreating the whole thing. Could be misremembering though. That being said I hope one day it gets a reboot or continued in some way as well.
