Sorry for the lack of Sequential Art updates over the past month. I was away helping someone out after they'd had a bit of surgery, which disrupted my usual workflow a bit.All good, now! Back on track (hopefully!!):)

A good reason to disrupt work flow But no follow up on Scarlet building a cyber Kat?

Well, you need the Disc boxes because DVDs and BluRays can and will get scratched up like a mother... ya know. [pulls up a chair and turns it around backwards to sit in] Back in the day when I had to get my videos from sites like Netflix and Animenation, the discs would so scratched up as to be unplayable. What did the last person do with the disc? Buff it up with sandpaper? Thus I purchased a "disc resurfacer" and ran every disc through to polish them up. So yeah, Pip is right, but for the wrong reason.

Rob Williams

There is no hope for Pip 🤦🏼‍♂️

I had this exact same argument with my parents. Sadly they went ahead anyway and now probably two-thirds of our DVD and Blue-ray collection are in these big folders. And almost never even used or looked at. Such a waste. I'm half tempted to start buying the movies all over again just to have the physical box and box art once more along with a fresh disk.

You have your own life to lead. And if it includes helping a friend, good for you! As for the boxes: Without protection, the disks will get scratched up fast, and machines that can repair them cost $200-300. On the other hand, can't you just flatten the boxes and store them in a different place?

ScarySerum

I hope they're recovering well!

You don't have too large a collection, you have too small a house.

Keenir

thats a good reason for radio silence; i hope you're feeling better now.

Keenir

the boxes are part of the collection, surely that is sufficient. great work

Neraced

So true, so true... very good argument, that.
