I tried to play Warframe a while back, but was defeated by a combination of its baffling UI and terrible approach to tutorials.I did like some of the enemy designs, though; chonky-looking troopers made for very inviting targets.

They have been working on the new player experience to make it a little easier in the beginning. The community is very helpful to new players as well because of how difficult it was in the past.

Give it another go sometime, they did try to revamp the tutorials a short while ago, and have introduced some new Warframes as well, the current being Temple, the glam guitaristframe. ...yes, it's ludicrous, but I swear, Temple is dumb fun to play.

I tried it a while ago too...and the ammount of currencies and going over the same levels over and over again really didn't sit well with me, but yes aesthethics are ACE.

Oh, has anyone told you about my personal favorite Warframe, Hildryn (Prime)? https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Hildryn If you're willing to give this game another shot sometime, then Hildryn (Prime) is an absolute UNIT - both in terms of aesthetics and owning everyone in the area. It takes some doing to actually add her to your arsenal without paying for it, but it's well worth the time and effort. Giant silly hats on space capitalists, big rounded space baddies, the terrifying space forks, the new additions of blades that studied the angels, handy fellows, and too topical problems with a sidekick angry garbage... Honestly, they've really kept up the solid baddy designs.

It's got a veeeeery long ease in time. Easiest move is to just keep running missions and screwing around till you get it.

Warframe in general is hard to get into, and a steep commitment. That said, I have never met anyone that regrets taking that plunge. Also Warframe is a 12yr old game that hasn't stopped being updated, so depending on when you last tried it your prior first impressions may not be relevant. If you ever want to give it another try, I recommend ignoring most of the alerts in the top right of mission select outside of quests and taking your time working on the star chart. The wiki is your friend, and the absurdly friendly community is always happy to help new tenno Also, the devs at DE are phenomenal and their practices in monetization are some of the most ethical in the industry. I defy anyone to show me another developer that has asked their community what price their premium packs should cost.
