From "Rocky and Bullwinkle".Never saw that one. It was from 1959. I think the oldest cartoon I ever watched as a kid was "Roger Ramjet", from 1965.From what I can tell, they both played with the same themes and absurdities, but "Bullwinkle" had a greater cultural impact because it gets referred to a LOT.(I literally, just at this moment, got the gag from "True Lies")

Maybe because the Mighty Moose never deluded himself that he was smart, admitting Rocky was the brains behind their heroism, which made him more endearing.

I would say give the cartoon a watch, if only for cultural research and appreciation. The VA for Rocky earned a reputation for herself from that role, also voicing Natashia. She went on to do other big parts like voicing Granny in the Loony Toons

There's a restaurant here in Wilsonville, Oregon named "Bullwinkles" with all sorts of games, a go-kart track, and even a zip-line for the children (step your game up Chuck E. Cheese) with televisions everywhere playing the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show from the moment the doors open to just before closing. The stature of both Hillary and Pip are perfect for portraying the international spies, and you did a fantastic job!

June Foray’s work for WB predated Bullwinkle by a few years
