Centaur Commute - Process - Part 5

Today, I'm drawing another mythical creature dealing with the mundane: a centaur on her morning commute to the office. Voted for by my patrons - https://www.patreon.com/collectedcurios

Does Photoshop's fill tool just suck or something? That looked like a really tedious way to color the Centaur-girl, and then erasing the excess color around her. I'm just trying to understand the reasons behind the process. I figure there must be a reason or some strong advantages to doing it that way. I primarily use Clip Studio Paint, and it's fill tool will close gaps in the linework and scale the final fill area if you want. I gave up on Photoshop a while back when it didn't have brush stabilization. I think they've added it in now, but CSP still feels like it has more advantages.
