Before they bolted the Starfox IP onto it; I remember seeing concept art for Dinosaur Planet in a games magazine. Must have been the late 90s as there were no screenshots. Just an ace picture of an early Krystal and some goofy dinosaurs in the background. I think that pic alone was one of the things that got me reading up on the role of a concept artist - which I eventually was.Never played the game, though. Kinda lost interest in it when it was retitled "Starfox Adventures".

Star Fox Adventures was genuinely good. People liked it too, for about a decade, before it suddenly became "cool" to retroactively shit on it and pretend everyone always hated it and blame it for the eventual semi-death of the franchise, when really that last point is more because of people who refuse to let the series evolve and reinvent itself and demand nothing but Star Fox 64 over and over. The whole reason Star Fox got attached to Dinosaur Planet, btw, was essentially to save it from becoming a Microsoft property, and because Shigeru Miyamoto noticed the main character bore an uncanny resemblance to Fox. Also the game was only like halfway finished by the time the GameCube was getting ready to release.
