Wallpaper: Mass Effect (Patreon)

"Alright squad, sharpen up and try to look into the camera for once."

Most did not, and those who did, did so in their own way. Yet they all remained in frame, somehow unified in purpose. Such was the Normandy crew's way.

As it always would be.

-----

November rolls around, and with the recent news out of EA I thought it was time for another Mass Effect wallpaper.

I cannot express the sorrow I feel over Bioware shutting down and the uncertainty of one of my absolute favorite franchise's future, particularly after that internal trailer leak that happened and which I personally found really interesting. Mass Effect is the franchise that started my entire trip into this line of work, and whereas others have Star Wars, Star Trek, Warhammer 40k and similar, my introduction and formative experience for sci-fi was Mass Effect. Whether the games continue or not, I've vowed to never stop making content in the universe in question, and have with these news considered dedicating a month per year to Mass Effect specifically, so chances are that come 2027, November (where November 7th, or N7 lands) will be seeing a similar treatment to October's horror franchise divide, except it'll be just Mass Effect. We'll see, I'm still quite emotional around the matter and have been feeling discouraged over how little content I make in the setting these days, but I'll mull it over until the big new year report lands in January to see what I settle on, making the announcement then.

Thank you everyone, so much, for your support and kind words. Work continues, just as always, and so long as there's a fandom there's nothing that corporate can entirely kill. Take care of yourselves out there, as well as each other.
