Closed Beta Invite - SCS Stream Deck plugin v.6.0 (Patreon)

Hey everyone!We decided to invite our Patrons to a closed beta testing of our upcoming SCS Stream Deck plugin v.6.0 and it's accompanying SCS Telemetry app.

Read this post to see what is (already) new, how to get the beta versions and what important information you need to know before trying it out...

⚠ Here are the important things you need to know before you decide to test out this software...

This version is not finished yet. There will be weekly updates that we will be releasing until the public release. So far, we think we managed to recreate all the functionality of v.5.0 (current public version).

We would appreciate if you report all the issues you experience on our GitHub issue board, or on our Discord (#ms2-streamdeck) When reporting issues, please include the following information:- What is wrong- What was your expectation- Screenshot of the problem (if possible)- Logs from Stream Deck plugin and Telemetry app (if possible)

This new version is not compatible with our old versions. This (most likely) means that you will have to recreate your stream deck profile from scratch for v.6.0.

You can remove the manually added ms2-telemetry.dll files from your plugins folders in your game install directories. Our telemetry app now handles that in a simple and effective way.

Stream Deck Plugin v.6.0

Our SD plugin was rewritten from ground up. This first version should do everything the old one did - just better. Once we're all happy with this version, we'll proceed to add new features - new actions, new buttons, new icons... Please give it a test drive and report any issues you find.

SCS Telemetry App

We wanted you to have complete control of how your game data is processed and transmitted to "consumers". In this first version, the only "consumer" is the Stream Deck plugin. But in the future, this app will also have the ability to send data to our upcoming VTC-style website. This app also serves as testing grounds for some new things - such as auto updating, a simple installer, and more!

Please note that our telemetry app can also install, uninstall and update the ms2-telemetry.dll file that was previously copied into the game installation plugins folder.

⚠ Make sure the telemetry app is always running when you are using our SD plugin.
