Hey Mattie and poodle. Here's a little info on ""Religious Polygamy"(said with giant air quotes and truck load of sarcasm). the Man can't go seek a sister wife with out first wife's approval. First wife must also find the additional wives for husband. She has the right to say ,but if she refuses him additional wives she lowers his godhood and standing in heaven. She can even cause him not to get his own planet house making them homeless God and goddess. So no the wife really can't say no to additional wives. And yes amazingly the men are always lead to younger and younger wives unless the older one has money or land funny how that works. Also most religions are against polygamy. Including Islam& Christianity and all their denominations. Mormonism isn't in the Christian camp but they sure do have interesting history that poodle would probably like to look into they tried to start a civil war with the US government. They did genocide on blood feet native Americans, and tried to out law in two states, printing anything negative about them. Joseph Smith only got the ok about multiple wives after he got got trying to pass his secert girlfriend off as his nephew.

Mass-hole sissy here. Confirming that Shane definitely plays pickle ball. It has taken their part of the state by storm! Their town, Wayland, is in a boring, affluent pocket of Boston’s Metro West. Everyone there plays pickle ball. My friends, 35, live in the next town over and all the mid-30’s husbands in town play. The “noise” from the courts has also stirred up controversy in the affluent communities of Wellesley and Brookline. No really. This was a news story. You can look it up. It’s wild.

Not only is the Jonestown Massacre a piece of history that everybody should know, since it was one of the most tragic events in recent history, it has had a resurgence lately due to a couple of books being written and I think a 20/20 episode or a movie. Besides the sheer magnitude of the dead in Jonestown, the story of how it came about is just as tragic. A Congressman responding to inquiries from families organized a party to go down there which included several journalists, his aide and others. He was killed trying to help people who were basically prisoners there, so it was a pretty big deal. I believe he was from California and I believe a respected journalist was killed also. The visit from the congressman is what set Jim Jones off and so many people wanted to escape with him that Jones felt threatened. In the recent stories from a couple of years ago, it was really fascinating to hear survivor's stories including the congressman's young assistant and several people who had to hide in the jungle for days. Definitely a cautionary tale and amazing story of fortitude by the lucky few survivors.
