I'm surprised they never showed Manual in English classes that he blew off! Also Jasmine had a really good point, he will always find a construction job, but he will be a Contractor/Supervisor if he's bilingual.

My mother immigrated from Japan in the 60's and learned to speak, read and write English. Manual is lazy, not proud. The Japanese do not even use the same alphabet. Manual has the advantage of the same alphabet as English, so it really isn't that complicated. If he truly had pride, he would show that he was capable of learning how to speak English just as well as any other person who immigrated to the states.

My dad loves keeping coins and cash, too. He got an inheritance last year, and part of it was $5000 cash. He still has that cash in his bathroom (his “office”) and adds $100 bills to it any time he gets a chance. He’s also got a closet full of spare change. Dude has 2 bank accounts but loves hoarding cash 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok I'm super late to the party. with this but I brought boozes so. I think finally figured out why Angela always loose it at the tell all. 24 If she is yelling and screaming. it allows her to control the narrative. Micheal can't speak, and everyone else doesn't want to be yelled at. so no one questions or speaks up to her. I think that lets her think she proved her point, and is therefore vindicated. Mattie or any other phycology people could that be a form of manipulation on her part, and a way to control what is said about her or to her ?

So grossed out by Liz and Ed’s comments about Manuel. And especially the way Liz was co-signing almost every bad opinion Ed had. It’s clear from the conversation that Ed and Patrick had earlier that they view foreign women as pretty dolls that they can manipulate. Ed apparently views foreign men as guys trying to scam American women. Not a good look.
