I’m curious (I hope Sissy-Mary covers this). Which Junior came first? 90 Day-Pedro or his brother with the same name in his dad’s other family? Because THAT would seem even more sinister for Lydia to try to replicate his original family. From the bits and pieces of information, mother-Pedro seemed like the mistress and tried (and failed) to become the primary family. It would explain her absolute bitterness and contempt for even talking about the dad at all with Pedro. She can’t face the defeat of not dethroning the original wife and becoming the primary family. She settled for scraps and he only saw her in the evenings after Pedro and Nicole went to bed.

I did a Nazarene diet for awhile. Not for religious reasons. It was a diet book. Kosher is the easiest way to explain it to people because it’s basically the same except not as strict on how the food is prepared. But basically you don’t eat anything they couldn’t eat in the Old Testament. You eat a lot of sprouted grains, no yeast. Unpasteurized milk and cheese, etc.
