I was so frustrated!! The preview was up on the coming up in September thing on MAX earlier this afternoon…. So I’m thinking ok ok ….. BUT NO!! We had to watch it on TLC GO w 9000 hrs of butt commercials for protein!! Hopefully it’s streaming the day after but even so!! I hate to be a Karl’s wife but here I go…. Kkkkkkaaarlllll!!!

Also, on Chibi’s cause of blindness, it sounds like physical trauma to the oculus, similar to a detached retina. They can sometimes be treated with emergency surgery, but I don’t know how readily available that kind of treatment would have been to Chidi. I have to say though, he’s adapted amazingly for someone who both has an acquired disability and literally no accessibility infrastructure!

African stories! Spending summers in E. Africa,My Grandma told me some trees I couldn't go near bc the juice berries would make you go blind. I'm wondering if this was the case. Perhaps this is what happened? But also my Grandma lived by a very deep lake they said dinosaurs were under there, we weren't allowed to swim it in.

My aunt blinded my uncle in one eye when they were kids! She shot a toy with a rubber band at him and hit him straight in the eye. That was in the 60’s. My mom was always adamant that I wear sunglasses if I played with nerf toys as a kid because they were all so traumatized 😐
