I went to the crappies a couple years ago during an LA downpour that lasted for days and days! I’m from the Midwest so rain doesn’t bother me but LA really DID seem to be very ill equipped for it! Restaurants and my hotel had leaks, the traffic was awful, power was out randomly, hard to get an Uber places P.S. I did get to meet poodle there that night!

The couple kept saying they *thought* the fire was caused by the fireplace being left on and getting hot enough to trigger the sprinklers. I’m guessing the flooding was deemed accidental and the agent wasn’t necessarily found liable by the insurance company. The agent might wind up acknowledging liability by waiving commission/withdrawing from the deal. That’s my guess about why that agent is still involved, and is why Chrishell said they’d need a lawyer involved if the original buyer decided to go through with the deal
