The universe said “Double It” when Grandma Hazel was born!

TT

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who cried when Sarper proposed!!!

Steph 👩🏻‍🦰

So Poodle, does Irish men being devils make you want them more, or are they just poor substitutions for the actual Devil? 😈 🇮🇪

Brooke

OMG I got halfway through and was thinking WTF is up with these 2 today, are they just talking unbelievably fast? No. I had accidently hit 1.5 speed 😂😂

Tricia theisen

I worked with a woman at Ulta who was door greeting around the holidays. She told a black couple “Happy Kwanzaa” as they left and they turned to her and said “we’re atheist”, then asked for the manager. I’ll never forget this.

Mandy G

I KNEW ya'll were about to sing Please Don't Go! LOLOLOL

Val McCue

The “I Love You More” thing is annoying and I saw it as word art at Michael’s near the embroidery thread I was getting, with a litany of things written below it. 😒

Jennifer Riester

Poodle (or other sissies who have been China) - does your credit card not work over there? Was he trying to use a debit card? It seemed a bit fraudulent that they wouldn't take a credit card.

Natalie Duarte

I have to speed through James & Tatha. They’re exhausting, I can’t stand them, but just know they’ll be back for more torture on another season 🙄

TT

That's hilarious! The 1st time someone said Happy Kwanzaa to my African immigrant parents, they had to explain to them what the heck Kwanzaa was.

Okay, James is a total asshole!! He lied to everyone and did this before with another girl……he is terrible!! His family hates him and now her family does too!

Dominique Hoium

Another dead plot point is Josh’s Misophonia.

ashley mignella

Every Sunday my dad plays Casey Casem on the radio 😵‍💫

Kimberley Shelton

I need to see Grandma Hazel. Where can I find it?

Robin black

Poods- I was in Starbucks yesterday- and it was a miserably slow experience. And while I’m waiting, I hear two of the staff talking, saying how they would NEVER drink Starbucks. They don’t like it. I kind of looked around as if I was being punked because really? Way to sell the brand that is PAYING YOU RIGHT NOW WITH 15 CUSTOMERS IN HEARING RANGE. Gah!

Ashley

I just wanted to pop in and say that the Ralph’s on Wilshire always has some crazy person screaming outside and it’s so normal to me now I’m not even phased 💀 I’ve never tried their deli before though, I always go to Sprouts on La Brea 👌🏼

Val McCue

Mattie shared on their Instagram page the aforementioned wedding picture and oh man! It didn’t disappoint 🤣

Rizzy Ramone

My tinfoil hatty theory about Joanne is that she got cold feet and used her kids as an excuse to back out, because I genuinely don’t think she would sacrifice her happiness for her kids. This may be informed by personal trauma…

Katherine Rea

“Hello…. James doesn’t want kids…” in Adele voice will never not make me laugh

JD_aloha

Just saw the Grandma Hazel wedding outfit post. O M G the length of the vest! The pantyhose are making her legs look super hairy LOL or was it hair?? hmmmmm

Jenny

He’s just not that into you is written by a MAN (of course.) Greg Behrendt is an author and…standup comedian. I want to say he also had his own talk show? HJNTIY really had a moment.

I didn’t have trouble using my credit card but I called the bank in advance to tell them where I would be and when so they knew my charges were legit. Debit cards are another issue! Tougher to use depending on where you are.

Elizabeth

Clearly neither of you have been to a Chinese wedding 😂

Ronz
>>155134073

13yr China veteran here…yes, international credit & debit cards generally *should* work in China since China has access to all the major credit payment networks (Mastercard, Visa), unlike, say, Russia. But over the last several years, the problem has become that merchants just don’t have the payment infrastructure (PoS machines, etc) to accept credit/debit cards because e-payments via WeChat have become ubiquitous…oh, & no one ever accepts cash, not even taxi drivers. Frankly, I was surprised the wedding venue even had a PoS machine…but, yea, it’s probably TLC fraudin’ since they had a card machine 😝

Alyssa Holland

My mom is notorious for mishearing lyrics - she sang “climb every woman” loud and proud, she was certain Seal had been kissed by a bird on the wind. And when Please Don’t Go came out and her future club rat of a daughter couldn’t get enough of it, she was kind of disappointed the lyrics weren’t “freeze the boat.”

Ashley Janes
>>155131748

I was hoping for it to lead to song….a second later Mattie belted it out. Manifested that wonderful foolishness.

Katherine Rea

Josh’s smarmy crocodile-tear non-apologizing bug-eyed face drives me crazy 😝. He knew Lily couldn’t cancel the wedding so last minute without compromising personal and professional relationships, so he called her bluff and got off scot free from failing her “test.” I hope Vivian and Rolex drag his ass at the tell all.

Aly
>>155124347

I’ve done that but opposite.. I thought they were drunk til I realized it was the podcast set slower 😆

Sharee Lynn

It's okay Poods. I also watch "30 Rock" continuously. At this point. I pretty much just perform it.

Sarah Smith

The blue contacts looked super freaky because the pupils looked tiny & I felt like I could see her natural color through the blue. Those color contacts never look right to me

Heather Greenwood

You described that wedding perfectly. It’s like they were going for drinks after work. 🤣🤣🤣 They only had 6 guest 🤣🤣🤣 It was like a Chinese dinner theater wedding.

Colleen 🗑

The sports commentating for James and Tata's Misery Olympics killed me! 😂

Colleen 🗑
>>155169251

I wish we could be friends in real life because I am constantly quoting it and no one gets the reference

Dana Tabala

Those Adele jokes will never ever get old! Haha! My friend just saw her in Vegas last month and when we met up last week I yelled “HELLO FROM THE OUTSIIIIDE!!!!” 😆

Andy

SPOILER ALERT they give away first 3 episodes of Finding Mr Christmas without any warning 😤

Vic

Y’all Ben and Ronnie need to cover the Netflix Christmas stripper movie with Chad Michael Murray!!!!

Ashley Elizabeth

Adele: "Hello from the other siiiide, James is sheeting and he liiiieeedddd" 🎶

Lizzy

There is a PLETHORA of people in the 90 day universe who wear the blue contacts!! People! You ALL look like ABSOLUTE MONSTERS! They do not look natural EVER! Your natural eyes are going to ALWAYS be 5000% prettier! Sarper ALWAYS wears blue-greenish contacts. I know his natural eyes must be brown, he probably looks so much better with brown eyes.

Yvonne Betancourt

Are Irishmen the devil? Yes they are!! Many years ago had a penpal who came over to San Diego, I picked him up at the airport, we went to dinner and took him to his hotel. I wasn't attracted to him and he never made a pass, so have no idea how I ended up with his dick in my mouth! Sorcery I tells ya!!

Hannah Snyder

I'm going to need an update on the grocery store.

Carey Addis

I am obsessed with finding Mr. Christmas! When the actor was wiping Hayden’s tears…so hot! Also, Nicki and Vickie are such dick pigs. Loved them!

Dana Tabala
>>155131748

“MA! I love you SoOoO!” Between that and Adele in this episode… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Dana Tabala
>>155169251

One of the best comedies EVER! I rewatched it with captions on recently (almost said as an adult but I was already in my 20s when it was on, ouch!) and I missed SO MUCH!

Dana Tabala
>>155151348

Someone I know thought Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life” had the lyric “Frankenstein! I did it my way!” 🤔

Colleen 🗑
>>155169251

Haha right there with you on the older, wiser rewatch. It's so quoteable! "All God's children are terrible." "Welcome to my Christmas Attack Zone!" "I would never get you drunk on salmon! Or ANY fish!" Also I WEEP every time I see the episode Elaine Scritch sings "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." God I loved her.

Colleen 🗑
>>155138557

Borrowing your phrasing "this may be informed by my personal trauma" from here on out. It's brilliant!

Sharee Lynn
>>155169251

I'm in a 30 Rock FB group and we have a Ludachristmas gift exchange every year.

Karie Bear

My Uncle had roommates in HB that both worked at Medieval Times. One was a King & one was just a knight, it really created hierarchy problems in the house… and neither of these nerds would you have wanted to do, believe me 😂😂😂

amy
>>155134073

life is very hard for josh. never forget he was animating legos in his initial episode

amy

grandma hazel looks like a server in a las vegas casino:)

Lynn

I don’t get why she’s wearing her engagement ring on her right hand . It bothers the crap out of me!

Julianne

Not that I feel bad for James, but, did anyone else notice that Tatha didn’t fully translate to her parents: James: tell them I have to go back to the US to work Tatha: he’s going back to the US Father Tata: I thought you were staying in Indonesia James: I want to, but I need to make money Tatha: he needs to work It’s like she’s setting him up to look like an asshole so her parents can view her as the victim, as well. Ughhhhh I can’t stand them on my tv

Madeline Wysong

The first thing I said to my partner at the end of this ep was, “How is it that after all that, I think Shekinah and Sarper are the only ones who will make it??” 🤣

Lois Molina

I’m taking a social media break and it is glorious. I’m watching procedural dramas like The Equalizer with Queen Latifah. My daughter is horrified that I refuse to go on social media. I just can’t do it right now.

Erin Mc

Is Jenny the only cast member of TOW to really see it through and actually live in another country? Cause lately it's like 90 Day The Other Way 3 month visa edition

Danielle G
>>155305147

It is Turkish tradition. Engagement ring goes on the right hand and then moves over to the left during the wedding.

Amy Diehl

I LOVED Shekina and Sarper on this season!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I'm sick of James & Tata and Josh & Annie. Ugh

Linda Coy

A lot of people have left Twitter/X and gone to Bluesky. It’s great! No ads on your timeline, easy to block if needed. No propaganda from Elon. I keep waiting for you guys to show up there. ❤️

Val McCue
>>155436537

This is a great choice! I might give it a try. I deleted my twitter account when the felon rapist ran for and became president the first time, it was like being in a cesspool or the loudest, most obnoxious high school cafeteria. Thanks for the tip!

Linda Coy
>>155305617

Absolutely. She is selectively translating. However, if James had kept his promise to learn the language, she wouldn’t be able to do that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

MicaS

Can you post the grandma Hazel pic here for those Carl’s wives among us who are not on “Social Meeja”?

Deja Bleu

Love the Adele impressions..... 💅🏾
